The essence of home is all brought back with this cut mango pickle! The pieces of mango cuts are well done, soaking the spice and sourness just about nicely. Eating it is a balance of sour, spicy and sweet just the way Amma prepares it. The mustard seeds, red chili and achaar of hing aua attached with these all intro how ghee tantrik khetaan with South Indian food. How it goes with curd rice, dosa or while having sambhar rice or just kidding at the time. This mango pickle is one of the greatest expressions which clearly say that it belongs from the South. I love this mango pickle a lot!
